About the Event
Your weekend begins the moment you drive onto our waterfront property and access the 64-acre Breakneck Pond. You will be treated to three freshly made meals daily (vegetarian options available), prepared with intention to nourish body, mind, and spirit.
Your Host is Tatyana Kochergina, and the Guest Speaker is Jill Cruz, Board-Certified Nutrition Specialist.
Jill and I will introduce 4 Ways to Re-Activate Your True Nature and re-connect with your body, mind and soul.
1) Kayaking – a nontraditional form of stress reduction. Hitting the water and getting your heart rate up can help you reduce stress. Exercise has been shown to improve your mood and can even help fight depression. Most important, you will overcome challenges and learn new skills that can help to improve your self-image and boost
2) Yoga - a balanced practice that typically includes asanas, breath training, systematic relaxation, and seated meditation. Appropriate for all levels of experience, including beginners.
3) Mindful Walking – a nontraditional form of meditation that helps you connect with the environment, communicate with nature, get to know your body, slow you down, strengthen concentration, increase your awareness of intention, expand everyday mindfulness and connect to the present moment.
4) Nourish Our Body Workshop - Jill will help you understand how to lose weight by working with your nature—not against it—in a sustainable and enjoyable way, without feeling deprived.
